Why should your kids learn Hindi?

  • Hindi is the official language of India, English being the other language. Hindi is a main language in a number of states in India and is widely accepted and spoken in almost every state in India.
  • Hindi is the third most widely spoken language in the world after English and Mandarin. Nearly 425 million people speak Hindi as a first language and around 120 million as a second language.
  • Hindi is also spoken in many countries outside India, such as in the USA, UK, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, Yemen, Mauritius, Fiji, Suriname, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago.
  • Bollywood, the world’s movie capital and a multi-million dollar Entertainment Industry has its mainstream language as Hindi.

Ability to communicate and knowledge of Hindi is useful to anyone interested to connect with people in the countries of South Asia or with numerous South Asian communities of the world.

The study of Hindi provides great insight into one of the world's oldest and greatest civilizations. Knowledge of Hindi serves as an important medium to understanding the unique elements of Indian civilization.

How will this program help our kids?

Language and Culture are intertwined. To learn Indian culture, the medium of Indian language is most effective and important. Our epics and stories are scripted in Indian languages and their essence and meaning is best understood by knowing the Indian Languages.

Upon completion of this program, kids shall be able to speak and understand Hindi, rhymes, stories, letters, know Indian culture, festivals, and common Indian quotes and phrases.
